Many reels will hold more than 150 yards of line. You will seldom have as much as 150yards of line out at one time. Most of the time, much less. Use a enough of a less expensive monofilament line for a backer to allow the 150 yards to fill up the spool. It should be about the same diameter as the PowerPro.

Knots to Use:
Line to Backer or Leader of Simular Size - Uni to Uni Splice
Line to Backer and Leader of Different Size - Reverse Albright with a Lock.
Line to Terminal tackle - Uni Knot or Polomar
